Katie & Westy

It was a real honour when Katie asked me to be her photograph her wedding, as I have known Katie and her family for many years though playing in a band with her younger brother. Her family have always been incredibly welcoming and kind, and it showed even more so on their wedding day! Although I knew Katie, I hadn’t met her husband to be Chris (Westy) until after she had asked me to photograph their wedding day.

Naturally like most couples, we arrange to meet at a convenient time and location to discuss plans. However as luck would have it, a chance encounter with Westy led to discussing wedding plans whilst having a dip at the local pool!

Their venue at Barff House, was stunning and one I even considered for my own wedding day. A family run venue that shares a love for intimacy and fine details!
